The Fraud Threat: How to Protect Your Business
Fraud is changing. Is your business ready?
Fraud now accounts for 45% of all crime in the UK, and the methods used by fraudsters are becoming increasingly sophisticated. From convincing scam calls and emails to impersonation, payment diversion, phishing and ransomware, criminals are exploiting both technology and human behaviour to target businesses.
Join HURST for an insightful and practical session with Heather Bradley, Fraud Education & Awareness Manager at Lloyds Banking Group, exploring the latest fraud and interconnected cyber threats facing organisations today.
Drawing on real-life examples, Heather will take us inside the evolving world of fraud, explaining how criminals operate, the tactics they use and the warning signs businesses and their people should be looking out for.

About the speaker
Heather Bradley is a Fraud Education & Awareness Manager at Lloyds Banking Group, with more than 15 years' experience across financial services and law enforcement.
Before joining Lloyds Banking Group, Heather spent 10 years with the City of London Police, the National Lead Force for Fraud. Working predominantly in intelligence development, she supported UK and international investigations into high-harm fraud and organised crime, including multi-agency operations targeting illicit platforms enabling fraud and cybercrime at scale.
Heather also chaired DateSafe, a public-private working group bringing together law enforcement, technology platforms, financial institutions, regulators and victim advocates to combat romance fraud.
Passionate about fraud prevention, Heather now helps individuals and businesses stay ahead of emerging threats by increasing awareness, sharing practical insights and encouraging behavioural change.
When she's not raising awareness about fraud, Heather swaps emerging threats for fresh air and can often be found exploring the countryside with her dog.
