IR35 represents a huge shift in off-payroll working rules so, businesses making use of freelancers or contractors who either work through a personal service company (PSC) or who are self-employed, need to be aware of the upcoming changes.
Coming into force in April 2020, the extension of the off-payroll IR35 means business owners must check the employment status of their freelancers or contractors to ensure they meet the necessary requirements issued by HMRC.
At this roundtable event, we will be joined by experts James Thompson, Associate Partner in the HURST Tax team and Paul Chamberlain, Head of JMW’s Employment team. Both James and Paul will be facilitating discussions, offering practical guidance and will be on-hand to answer all questions.
As well as having the opportunity to have specific questions answered, both from a tax and legal perspective, there will also be the chance to hear of best practices from other businesses affected by these changes.
