HURST HELPS HAULAGE COMPANY ON ROAD TO SUCCESS

Cheshire-based S. Cooper & Sons Ltd, a fourth generation family haulage company has turned to north west accountants and business advisors HURST to help it meet its ambitious growth plans.

S. Cooper & Sons invited HURST to provide audit and strategic business advice and to advise on family and business tax issues.

The HURST team is led by partner Murray Patt. Richard Howarth, managing director of S Cooper & Sons said: “Since the appointment I have come to look upon Murray almost as a non exec financial director.

“He’s someone I can turn to for advice and help in developing the company both financially and structurally, who will be there to help us for many years to come as the company grows further.”

In addition to its 80 vehicle haulage operation, S Cooper & Sons has four warehouses on site offering more than 100,000 sq ft of storage space. The company employs more than 100 people.

This win for HURST is the latest in a series of clients gained from Big Four and national accountancy practices.
