Telemarketing Executive
Temporary to Permanent, 20 hours per week, £17,000 pro rata
Award winning accountants HURST are looking to recruit a professional telemarketer to join their busy team. The Telemarketing Executive will be responsible for generating new sales appointments with Finance Directors and owner-managers of sophisticated businesses and other organisations across the North West and beyond.
Candidates must have a proven background in a telesales or telemarketing role, ideally within banking, finance or professional B2B environments. Candidates should have a pro-active approach to their work and be able to demonstrate strength in tenacity, persistence, organisation and interpersonal skills.
Hours of work are flexible but we envisage the candidate working in 5 four-hour shifts anytime between 09:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with professional teams and the marketing department to determine calling targets.
- Create new sales appointments through cold calling of these targets.
- Working in coordination with the marketing executive to follow up all company marketing activities.
- Data cleaning and data quality, ensuring that all contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Providing written and verbal briefs when appointments are made.
- Positively and effectively representing the professional nature of the firm at all times.
Applicants should have previous experience in outbound sales/telemarketing and be motivated with a passion for direct and continuous engagement with prospects. You should have exceptional communication and telephone skills as well as being self-motivated and self-sufficient. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential as is previous experience calling senior level contacts.
