FOUR NEW ACCOUNT WINS FOR HURST
August, 2006
The region’s four leading business development and economic regeneration organisations have all appointed Hurst Accountants to carry out accounting and tax work.
Chamberlink, Manchester Enterprises Group, Manchester Solutions and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce chose HURST to provide statutory audit work and tax advice after competitive pitches.
Chamberlink provides business support services which help companies in the region improve performance and grow. It is jointly owned by Manchester Enterprises, the economic development agency for Greater Manchester charged with delivering economic growth in the region, and by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, the largest Chamber of Commerce in the UK. Manchester Solutions delivers high quality services to individuals and businesses which enable them to achieve their full potential.
HURST, which has offices in Stockport and Manchester, beat off strong competition from the Big Four and other major national accounting firms to become the primary accounting and tax advisor for all four organisations.
Said HURST partner Tim Potter: “We are delighted to have been chosen by these four important organisations who are all dedicated to social and economic development in the region.”
And David Williams, financial director of Manchester Enterprises, said: “The HURST team has a deep understanding of our business needs, a willingness to embrace our ideals and the ability to help us build a better organisation.
“We see HURST as a strong regional player with national reach, and we know their team will make a valuable contribution to the task of growing the economic and business wealth of the region.”
